Dr. Anthony Greenwald, psychology professor at the University of Washington, describes his research developing the method (described in Malcolm Gladwell’s Blink) that reveals this unconscious mental content, demonstrates the method and describes how the unconscious mental content that it reveals affects our behavior.

Dr. Anthony Greenwald is a psychology professor at the University of Washington, in Seattle (affectionately known as U-Dub) and Director of its Laboratory of Implicit and Unconscious Cognition. The University of Washington receives more research money than any other public university in the United States and, in the year of this post’s lecture, the Psychology Department alone received a total of $11 Million.
